Teachers’ Day Celebration – “Gurudeepthi”

P.K.M. College of Education, Madampam, organized “Gurudeepthi – Honouring the Lights that Lead,” a Teachers’ Day celebration jointly organized by the IQAC and NSS Unit 87 on 8 September 2026 at the College Auditorium. The highlight of the programme was an interactive session by Mr. K. Vinod Kumar, State Teachers’ Award Winner–2026, Teacher Trainer, Science Kit Trainer in Sasthrolsavam, Sports Promoter, and Headmaster of Mambram Higher Secondary School. He shared valuable insights on effective teaching, understanding learners, inspiring students, and the responsibilities of teachers. His engaging activities made the session informative and enjoyable for the student teachers. The programme also featured the honouring of the faculty members of P.K.M. College of Education in recognition of their dedication and contributions to education. Mr. K. Vinod Kumar was also honoured for his achievements and dedicated service to the teaching profession. The celebration concluded with renewed appreciation for the teaching profession and its role in guiding and inspiring future generations.
